Part 21 DOA & Certification workshop was implemented between 11th and 13th December 2019, at the ICAO Regional Office premises located in Lima – Peru.

 

The aim of this activity was to provide an overview of the EASA system following a practical approach, explaining the applicable requirements as well as EASA internal processes for the approval and surveillance of DOAs, as well as the processes for the certification of products and for the management of changes and repairs to aeronautical products.

The workshop was held in a collaborative environment. Attendees showed their interest in the topics explained by the DOATL. A dedicated questions & answers section was held at the end of the workshop, where the attendees presented several real cases where Agency standpoint and experience dealing with similar cases was sought.
