Within the context of the EU-LAC APP, EASA has partnered with EUROCONTROL and European stakeholders to provide a two-day webinar focused on the regional CNS systems and services in Europe, and their critical role as enablers for digitalization and automation in European ATM/ANS.

The objective of this workshop is to share the latest developments in CNS in Europe, highlight the importance of regional and coordinated approaches, and the need for standardisation and interoperability. The webinar will cover the following topics:

• Communications
o The regional IP network (NewPENS)
o Data-link implementation
o SATCOM
• Navigation
o PBN Implementation
o SBAS
• Surveillance
o Processing and distribution of surveillance data
• Management of interoperability and standardisation
• Rationalization and integration of CNS
• The industry perspective

This two-day workshop will take place on 13th and 16th of May, starting at 14:00 UTC. The workshop will be performed in English language.

En el contexto del EU-LAC APP, EASA con la cooperación de EUROCONTROL y socios europeos proporcionará un webinar de dos días cubriendo los servicios y sistemas CNS regionales en Europa, y su rol crítico como habilitadores de la digitalización y automatización del ATM/ANS Europeo.

El objetivo de este taller es compartir los últimos desarrollos de CNS en Europa, resaltando la importancia de enfoques regionales coordinados, y la necesidad de estandarización e interoperabilidad. El taller cubrirá los siguientes temas:
